Engine Warm Up EICAS message

A

After each engine becomes stable: If the ENG 1 (2) WARM UP message is displayed, engine operation above idle should be minimized

A

wait 30 seconds after the N2 stabilizes before shutting the APU down or GPU disconnection

Mnemonic for Engine Start Abnormalities: “N2-HOT-OOPS”

A

N – No Positive Oil Pressure within 10 seconds after N2 starts increasing.

2 – No Positive N1 after N2 reaches 45%.
H – Hot Start (ITT exceeds start limit).

O – Oil Pressure Stabilizes below engine limits.

O – Odd Malfunction (Electrical, pneumatic, or starter malfunction before disengagement).

P – Pilot Aborts (Automatic or manual FADEC abort due to abnormal engine indications).

S – Stop the Start procedure immediately.
