Needle stick PEP regimens

A

HBV: SEE ALBUM. Start within 7 days.
No PEP indicated if SAb > 10. Accelerated vaccine 0,7,21 and 12 months in high risk source. HBIG if source HBV positive.

HCV: no regimen

HIV: start within 24 hours MAXIMUM 72 hours.
Tenofovir DX 245/Emtricitabine 200 PLUS Raltegravir 1200 OD for 28 days.

HTLV: Same as for HIV

BBV exposure testing schedule

SEE ALBUM

HBV: 0, 3, 6 months.

HCV: 0, 3, 6 months.

HIV: 0, 3 months (45 days using 4th gen test). It should be done 45 days after 28 days PEP - 73 days and this can be aligned with other BBV testing at 3 months.
