Pt with mild systemic disease , current smoker, social alchemy drinker, well controlled DM/HTN
ASA II
Severe systemic disease, angina, poorly controlled DM or HTN, COPD, morbid obese, history >3 months MI,CVA
ASA III
Severe systemic disease, constant threat to life recent <3 months MI, CVA
ASA IV
For CPR push ___ inches
2 inches/ 5 cm
If no advanced airway compression ventilation ratio in adults
30:2
If intubated , adults , 1 breath every
6 seconds
If intubated, children 1 breath every
2-3 seconds
During life support preferred route of administration
IV and IO
Epi dose
1 mg every 3-5 mins
Second line of drug after epi
Amidorone, lidocaine
Amidorone or lidocaine dose
Amidorone: 1st dose 300mg bolus, 2nd dose 150mg
Lidocaine: 1st dose 1-1.5mg/kg, 2nd dose- 0.5-0.7 mg/kg
Pediatric support- if no advanced airway , compression-ventilation ratio

Pediatric- Epi dose
0.01 mg/kg. Max 1 mg. Repeat 3-5 mins
Pediatric- Amidorone, lidocaine dose
Amidorone- 5mg/kg bolus during arrest. May repeat upto 3 doses
Lidocaine- initial 1mg/kg loading dose
For adult more accurate area to check pulse
