Q

Weakness of Bandura’s (1961) Experiment: Setting

A

A weakness of Banduras 1961 study was that it was done in a lab and the situation involved in the task was very different from in a real nursery. This means the experiment lacks external validity and cannot be generalised outside the lab

Q

Strengths of Bandura’s (1961) Experiment: Application

Q

Strength of Bandura’s (1961) Experiment: Design

A

A strength of the study was its high internal validity due to its design. Children were matched to controls and any children with abnormal behaviour were not used. Each child was observed one at a time to allow the most accurate observation.
