A

When the optimum temperature is highest.

Q

Where is Bile on the pH scale?

A

Bile is alkaline to neutralise hydrochloric acid from the stomach.

Bile also emulsifies fat to form small droplets. This increases the surface area for lipase enzymes to break down the fats.
