- Get a thin sample of whatever your testing (so light pases through)
- Place on the slide
- stain the cells (allows to see the organells)
- slowly lower the coverslip ( avoids bubbles)
- place the slide on the stage on the lowest magnification
- Ajust the course and fine focuc
- Increase the magnification
