What is the axilla?
A
a pyrimadal interval between the arm and chest wall. Contains the axillary artery/vein/lymph nodes/ brachial plexus and cephalic vein.

Subscapularis, teres Major, latissimus dorsi

What is the anterior wall of the axilla?
A
pec major, pec minor, and subclavius

What is the medial wall of the axilla?
A
Serratus anterior and intercostal muscles

What is the lateral wall of the axilla?
A
coracobrachialis and biceps brachii

What is the apex (inlet) of the axilla?
A
Posterior border of the clavicle, superior border of the scapula, and the lateral margin of the 1st rib
