A
sympathetic response in imitated, and parasympathetic nervous system is unable to compensate it

A
- extreme hypertension
- headache
- blurred vision
- diaphoresis

What can cause Autonomic Dysreflexia
A
- distended bladder
- fecal impaction

How to position a patient who has Autonomic Dysreflexia
A
- sit patient up and loosen constrictive clothing (1st priority)
- address the underlying cause
- administer antihypertensives
- monitor BP
