RA Myasthenia gravis Scleroderma Polymyositis Dermatomyositis Lupus Sjogrens Vasculitis
What is Ra
Chronic inflammation of the synovial lining of the joints, tendon sheaths and bursa
Affects small joints first
What are the ix of ra
Blood: CRP, anti - CPP antibodies
Xr
What type of hypersensitivity reaction causes RA
IV
What is the treatment of RA
1st line: immunosuppresion e.g corticosteroids, DMARDS, e.g methotreaxte
2nd biological therapies
What is myasthenia gravies
Causes muscles weakness -

- anti MuSK antibodies
- anti LRP4 antibodies
Treatment for grave

2nd : immunosuppressant e.g. corticosteroids, azathioprine
Surgery for thyroidectomy
Severe; 02, plasmapheresis
