Autoflight Flashcards

1
Q

What is Alpha floor protection?

A

FCOM auto flight flight augmentation
Automatically sets TOGA thrust if the aircraft reaches a very high angle of attack.
Generated by the FAC and active from take off to 100ft RA on approach.
Alpha floor is lost in alternate or direct law and one engine out with slats/flaps extended.
