Usually upper jaw pain, unrelated to distribution of trigeminal nerve. It may cross the midline

Deep, dull boring pain
Lasts most or all day
Doesn’t disturb sleep

A
Exclusion of organic disease cause

Patients have often not tried simple analgesics

Amitriptyline, Duloxetine, Pregabalin, Gabapentin
