Mechanism of Action
A
Blocks acetylcholine receptors to inhibit parasympathetic NS stimulation, increasing HR and easing symptoms of organophosphate poisoning

Indications
A
- Hemodynamically significant bradycardia
- Organophosphate poisoning

Contraindications
A
-Cardiac Arrest (Asystole, PEA)
-High degree AV Blocks
Relative: CAD/cardiac ischemia

Adverse Reactions
A
- Worsened bradycardia
- Tachycardia
- AMS
- Blurred vision
- Dilated pupils
- Dry mouth

Dose -> Adult
A
0.5mg, may repeat every 3-5 mins to a max of 3mg
Organophosphate poisoning-> 2-5mg
