Q

Maintenance. What changes?

A

Oliguric renal failure - decr. GFR, decr. urine output, fluid overload
incr BUN:Cr (cia tas padidejimas del sumazejusio GRF, bet siaip tai nefunkcionuoja lasteles, tai turetu buv <15:1), incr. potassium, incr phosphate, metabolic acidosis
osmol < 350 mOsm
UNa>30, FENa >1 proc.

Q

Recovery. What changes?

A

Gradual increase in urine output - leads to high duresis
continued impairment of tubular function resulting in electrolyte wasting (two arrows down to potassium, Mg, P, Ca).
