Commanding officer’s representative. Carries out the unit’s routine in port and shall ensure that a functional ATFP watch team protects the command
Tactical action officer (TAO)
Responsible for the weapons, sensors, and propulsion of a ship or group of ships in the absence of the captain
Quarterdeck watches
Responsible for the safety, security, and proper operation of the command
Chief of the guard
Conducting guard mount and overseeing proper watch turnover. Roving around the ship and pier, ensuring watch standers are alert, informed and properly equipped. Directing the employment of watch standers and reaction forces in the event of an incident
Pier sentries and waterborne patrol
Will be under tactical control of the installation’s security force. Personnel typically are under the tactical control of the ship’s ATTWO
