A

It is in our nature to receive virtue, but we get it by acting/ doing/ practicing it. It is habit.
Compared it to playing the harp. You have to practice/ do it to acquire the ability to play it.
Set virtues are not in our nature for it can be changed.

Destorys: too little or too much of a virtue.”defect and excess”. Like too much exercize or too little destorys our strength
Perserves: consistency and acting. like abstaining from pleasures we are better able to do that in the future. Same with courage. as we practice courage we are better able

third must spring up from an unchangeable character(the older you get the more unchangeable the character)

Median is not the same for everybody. It is the place between the 2 extremes. Mathmatecal mean is set. The mean relative to us is just that relative

characteristic involving choice, and that it consist in a mean relative to us, a mean which is defined by a rational principle, such as a man with practical reason.
