Volgorde Takeoff briefing
T = Threats --> niet ervaren, nieuw veld etc A = Aircraft --> technical status (MEL, CDL etc) N = NOTAM's --> dep + to alt or dest + alt W = Weather --> B = Brieding --> normal (taxi, departure etc) E/F = Emergency/fuel --> on ground en after 80kts/V1 Q = Questions?
In which cases do you reject the takeoff after 80 kts but before V1 (6 items)
- Any fire warning
- Loss of controlability
- Engine failure
- Runway obstruction
- Windshear warning
- If cpt/fo calls ‘‘REJECT’’
Up to 80 knots you will reject the takeoff in case of:
- any master caution
- significant malfunction
In case of a rejected Takeoff, YOU (cpt) will: 4 items
- Call ‘‘reject’’ and I have control
- Disengage autothrottle, close thrust levers
- Pull the speed brake manually
- Apply maximum reverse thrust
In case of a rejected Takeoff, I (fo) will: 5 items
- Monitor your items
- Check speedbrake and reverse deployment
- Monitor autobrake
- Call ‘‘60 knots’’
- Advise ATC
Describe NITS briefing
N = Nature --> we have an engine fire I = Intentions --> we will return to AMS T = Timing --> expected landing is in 10 minutes from now S = Specials --> we stop on the runway and asses the situation
