Q

What is classical conditioning?

A

All animals are born with natural reflexes such as salivation when food comes. This is a natural stimulus and a natural response. When other stimuli are added such as a bell when food comes, it can create the same outcome such as salivating when the bell is rung but the food doesn’t come providing the conditioned response.

Q

What’s the neutral stimulus?

A

What is paired before the unconditioned stimulus. After they have been paired a number of times the neutral stimulus can then produce the same outcome.
