She later influences Adam to do the same just like how Lady Macbeth after hearing from Macbeth what the witches said wants to encourage him to act on their words, this paints females in a negative non sterotypical way from the start as women are seen as delicate and incapable of such evil. parallel to bible (witches + devil)
