Get people in the job who would make more money for the company without losing a lot of money due to turnover (companies pay money to hire people so you want to select a good group)

Task leader
Task and goal oriented
- more focused on goals, tasks, and standards
Social leader
Focus is on conflict resolution
- teamwork is prioritized
- grop minded
- more support to employees
BEST leader has BOTH
- sets goals and standards but can pivot and support employees and work in teams, etc.
Human Factor Psychologist
Cousin of I/O psych BUT NOT SAME THING
- loosely affiliated with I/O psych
- Work closely with engineers, designers, etc.
- psychological principles for increasing safety and comfort with products
- appliances, airplanes, etc. (found in almost every sector)
