Created in 1886, the group brought skilled workers from different trades to form a stronger national organization
-The AFL was created to help out the working people get there rights put forward.

Religious interest group that wants to advance conservative Christian values in politics
-Christian Coalition wants to connect the christian beliefs with politics, to get to the people a lot better.

Tendency to form small associations for the public good
-People from Moreno Valley created a civic virtue to protect the homeless.

Something of value that can’t be withheld from a non-member of a group
-The president has a collective good, for the people.

Theory that interest groups form as a result of changes in the political system
-The disturbance theory can connect and attracts those with different views.
