Drugs - Quinine, Chloroquine, Hydrochloroquine, Melfloquine, Primaquine
Suffix - “quine”
Action - Prevents malaria by cell death
Caution - Liver DZ, Renal DZ, psoriasis or porphyria
AE - cns, blindness, ototoxicity
Drug 2 Drug - patient who is receiving combinations of Quinine derivatives & Quinine is at risk for cardiac toxicity and bone marrow suppression

Action - inhibits DNA production
AE - headache, dizzy, loss of coronation, Nausea
Drug 2 Drug - Alcohol, Anticoagulants, Disulfiram
