What are the features of antiphospholipid syndrome?
A
CLOTS
C - Coagulation defect (arterial/venous)
L - Livedo reticularis (purple mottled skin)
O - Obstetric (recurrent miscarriage, IUGR, pre-eclampsia, placental abruption, VTE)
T - Thrombocytopenia

How do you manage APS in pregnancy?
A
- Low dose aspirin as soon as pregnancy is confirmed
2. LMWH once fetal heart is seen on USS until 34 weeks
