Antigen triggers the immune system causing hives, respiratory inflammation, and/or anaphylaxis
Minimum Inhibitory Concentration
the smallest concentration or the highest dilution of drugs that visibly inhibit growth
Therapeutic Index
the ratio of the dose of the drug that is toxic to humans divided by its minimum effective dose

use of a drug to prevent imminent infection of a person at risks

the use of chemotherapeutic drugs to control infection
