power is automatically supplied to both A and B probe heat systems when either engine is running.

No. Only the inboard 3 slats. The wing anti–ice system does not include the leading edge flaps or the outboard leading edge slats

The MAX engine anti-ice panel has a new amber caption ENGINE ANTI-ICE. What does it mean?
When illuminated this indicates that the engine cowl thermal anti-ice system has been inhibited due to a system failure or when an engine core anti-ice valve fails closed.
