Passive: Hold on top of foot and ankle (seated)
Resisted: Resist against the bottom of the foot, hold ankle (seated)
Dorsiflexion
Agonist: Tibialis anterior
Antagonist: Gastrocnemius
Active: ‘Point toes towards you’ (seated)
Passive: Hold on top of foot and ankle (seated)
Resisted: Resist against the top of the foot from plantar, hold ankle (seated)
Inversion
Agonist: Tibialis anterior+posterior
Antagonist: Fibularis tertius and extensor digitorum longus
Active: ‘Bring big toe towards other big toe’ (seated)
Passive: Hold the heel with forearm against outside of foot (seated)
Resisted: Resisted at the heel with forearm against inside of foot (seated)
Eversion
Agonist: Peroneus longus and brevis
Antagonist: Tibialis posterior+gastrocnemius
Active: ‘Bring little toe away from the body’ (seated)
Passive: Hold the heel with forearm against inside of foot (seated)
Resisted: Resist at the heel with forearm against outside of foot (seated)
