Heavy/tight/gripping chest pain, typically on exertion, radiating to the jaw and/or arms
d: Stable angina
symptoms are not new and pain is relieved by rest/GTN
d: unstable angina
(an ACS) is pain on less and less exertion/eventually rest; GTN becomes less effective

FBC Thyroid function tests fasting glucose+lipid profile ECG Echocardiography CXR
What will and ECG exclude and show?
ACS
may show Q waves of past MI or LVH or BBB

functional testing eg
