-need to takd FBE - form of anemia
-iron status : serum iron, serum ferritin
-if fbe suggest thal > Hb electrophoresis

-with iron tab after ix
-two tab a day
-s/e : constipation, dark stool
-no need for parenetral or blood transfusion at this point
-

-check after 2 weeks fbe, retic
-satisfactory response well before time
-if poor response refer to haematologist
-no effect on pregnancy as king as hb maintained
-ifow placenta increase in size and baby small.
