What is the Frontal Plane
This cuts your body into the front and the back half. Cutting into anterior and posterial sections.

The sagittal axis
What is the Sagittal Plane
It cuts the body into the let and right side
What axis is the sagittal plane on
The frontal axis
What is the transverse plane
It cuts the body into a top and bottom half
What axis is the transverese plane on

What is a longitudinal section
A cut that you make along that view looking at things in certain planes
What is a transverse section
Taking a puck out of your arm
What is an oblique section
When you make a cut on a funny angle
What does proximal mean
Close to the trunk
What does distal mean
Away from the trunk
What does medial mean
Close to the mid line
What does lateral mean
away from the mid line
What does posterior mean
Towards the back
What does anterior mean
Towards the front
What does superior mean
Towards the top of the head
What does inferior mean
Towards the feet
