BASIC PRINCIPLES WRAPPING THE RESIDUAL LIMB

A

Bandage must be placed on the limb in diagonals NEVER complete a circumferential loop around the limb
Figure-8, criss-cross, pattern with 2/3 overlap each time the bandage goes around
Anchor the bandage
Make sure to avoid creating tissue ‘rolls’
Cover ALL skin
