A

He promised freedom to any enslaved people who would fight for the British and that made America have to do the same..
Announcement by the British that any escaped slave who fought would get their freedom.

A

George Washington’s strategy during the Revolutionary War focused on preserving his army, avoiding decisive battles unless advantageous, and engaging in a war of attrition to wear down the British. Washington’s strategy evolved from initial attempts at direct confrontation to a Fabian strategy of attrition, focusing on avoiding large-scale battles and tiring the British through a war of endurance and strategic retreats.
Try to fight one big battle, was demolished. Has to do guerilla warfare, attack and run away.

A

America had challenges like lack of a standing army, limited military experience, and supply shortages, leading to initial British military victories. The Americans overcame their initial struggles in the Revolutionary War through a combination of effective guerrilla tactics, strong leadership, strategic alliances, and the growing strength of their militia, ultimately leading to victory. No experience, no supplies, no government allies. but Ben Franklin got France’s help, George Washington and Baron Von Steuben taught soldiers how to fight, Supplies came from trenton and fort. ticonderoga

Trenton and Princeton: America won, Bold move/ Surprise attack
Saratoga: America won The British plan failed
Valley Forge: Where George washington and his troops spent the winter
YorkTown: America wins, Cornwallis ignores an order from Henry Clinton, leading him to get trapped at yorktown. American and French armies block land routes, French navy and Admiral De Grasse block the ocean escape.

John Paul Jones- Founder of the U.S Navy Attacked british shipping and supplies. Famous Battle against the HMS Serapis. Serapis surrendered
George Rogers Clark aka George Washington of the west was an American military officer and surveyor from Virginia who became the highest-ranking Patriot military officer on the northwestern frontier during the Revolutionary War
Francis Marion aka Swamp Fox was an American military officer, planter, and politician who served during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War
Benedict Arnold was a Continental Army general during the American Revolution, was once a celebrated hero who later became a notorious traitor
Lord Cornwallis was a British Army officer, Whig politician and colonial administrator who was one of the leading British general officers
Nathan Hale was a Revolutionary War spy and soldier who volunteered to gather intelligence behind British lines
