Decrease size of prostate via apoptosis, good for BPH as well as HTN

20 hr half life
Same as terazosin, first dose phenomenon
Tamsulosin
Alpha-1 blocker
a1A/1D-will relax base of bladder, sphincter, and prostate-treat BPH
5-10hr half life, metabolized in liver, little effect on BP
Difficulty w/ejaculation
