Shall not act as pilot of aircraft engaged in CAT

What does a LAPL(A) allow you to do
Act as PIC of Sep or touring motor glider (TMG)
With MTOM <2000kg
Carrying max of 3 pax such that never more than 4 persons on board
Holder may only carry pax after issue of licence having completed further 10 hours as pic
What does a CPL(A) allow you to do
Min age 18
All the privileges of a PPL(A) and LAPL(A)
Act as PIC or co pilot in CAT or any single pilot ac
Must be type rated on ac used in skill test
How to be current at night
1 take off / approach / landing at night in last 90 days
Or hold an instrument rating
What is the hour requirements for a CPL(A) course
Total 150 hours of which 5 May be sim
Within the 150:
80 dual instruction
70 PIC
20 hours x-country of 300nm including 2 land away
5 hours at night (with 3 being dual instruction) with 1 hour cross country and 5 solo full stop landings
10 hours instrument flight instruction.
5 hours in ac that can carry at least 4 people and have variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear

Min age 18
Act as co pilot in ac that requires a co pilot
750 hours of ATPL theory
240 hours of PF and PNFA in actual and simulated flight
Phase 1: core flying skills (light ac)
Phase 2: basic (intro to mcc and instrument)
Phase 3: intermediate (mcc in multi eng turbine)
Phase 4 advanced (type rating)
Must have: Upset recovery Night flying Instrument Mcc
What is the ATPL requirements
Age 21-59
Must hold either: MPL or CPL(A) and multi eng IR MCC
1500 hours that includes:
500 in multi pilot operations
500 PICUS Or 250 hours as PIC or 250 hours including 79 as PIC and remaining as PICUS
200 cross country which 100 shall be PIC or PICUS
75 instruments time which not more than 30 can be sin
100 night flight as pic or copilot
What height does a IR let you operate to
MDH 200ft
What hours are required for IR
PPL with night rating Or Atpl Or Cpl
With 50 hours cross country as PIC of which at least 10 shall be in relevant ac category
Theoretical knowledge
Valid for one year
Revalidation of IR
Shall be done within 3 months of expiry date
If you fail revalidation test before expiry date then remainder of IR licence is void
Can be completed one year in air the next in sim
The next in air next in sim etc
How quickly must a skills test be completed
6 months after commencement of course
