  • WX satisfactory. Max x wind 15 kt for OEI.
  • Runway length sufficient for touch and go.
  • Non-standard fuel or ballast if req included on Load sheet as ZFW.
  • TRE to supply screen if required.

Simulated Instrument Flight Conditions

  • Method approved by FOI
  • if attached to aircraft: Approved by CAD Airworthiness.
  • May not be simulated on Public Transport Flight, also no simulation of emergency maneuvers/procedures.

A
  • Crew duties. Include lookout and ATC.
  • Use of abbreviated training CL.
  • Method of simulating IMC/OEI
  • Effect of systems relevant to asymmetric flight.
  • Procedure after simulated OEI.
  • Procedure for touch and go, include retardation device.
  • Action in event of genuine emergency.
  • Arming doors/slides.

A
  • Fit screen at safe height (200 ft).
  • OEI simulated by reducing ONLY, min 500 ft.
    Turbo-prop auto feather follow manufacturers recommendation absolutely.
  • RTO Vmax <= 0.5V1
  • Precaution against brake overheat
  • ILS U/S during renewal: Substitute NPA, precision approach must be conducted during next renewal. Note on report form and C of T.
