- serotonin syndrome (hyperthermia, tremor and cardiovascular 6??)
B1 deficiency -
Wernicke’s encephalopathy (usually due to alcohol abuse) - ophthalmoplegia, ataxia and confusion (can lead to irreversible Korsakoff’s syndrome- confabulation) Tx: Pabrinex
Delirium - fluctuating mental state + inattention + disorganised thinking and/or altered level of consciousness (1+2 + either 3 or 4 or both)
Triptans contraindicated in IHD, uncontrolled hypertension, concurrent use of lithium, SSRI or ergot derivative drugs (such as cabergoline in PD)
