Pilot Input to descent or climb at a certain angle, the FGCS will adjust thrust and pitch to achieve this angle

On Ground - Activates takeoff guidance cross bars
In the Air - Activates Go Around

Maintain extended center line and maintain pitch guidance according to Slats/Flaps Settings
When is the TOGA mode deactivated
- If you select any other Vertical Mode.
- Autopilot is engaged.

Ground - AT is selected, Throttles 50 degrees
Air - Greater than 400AGL and AT is Armed

What will dis engage the auto throttles
- Pressing the AT button.
- TLA greater than 8 degrees
- TL at idle and wait on wheals.
What is SPDe
Thrust is fixed and the elevator is used to maintain Airspeed.
FLCH uses SPDe on climbs and descents.
What is SPDt
Thrust is used to maintain airspeed.
Normally used for FPA, VS, GS
What are the AT Modes
SPDe, SPDt, TO, GA, HOLD, RETARD at 30 feet.
