Parallel to the transverse process of L1-L4. 10-20ml given dorsal and ventral to each process
How is a proximal paravert. block given?
Cranially to L1-L3
10-15ml extra peritoneal, 10-15ml superficially
What are the indications for a left flank laparotomy
C section, LDA, rumenotomy
What are the indications for a right flank laparotomy
LDA/RDA, caecal dilation/torsion, ex lap
What is an auriculopalpebral block?
anaesthesia above and below zygomatic arch
What is the peterson nerve block?
between the supraorbital process and the zygomatic arch
What is the four point retrobulbar block?
into the lower and upper eyelid using 4 point 12,3,6 and 9 oclock.
