- No position entered within 10 minutes
- Bad position (1 degree difference between shutdown and entered)

ADIRU unpowered
-Wait 10 seconds after switching Off to unpower a/c electrical system

Normal mode supplying full inertial data

- enter magnetic heading using keyboard
- fourth digit is tenths
- heading entered will be converted to true heading
- should be entered every 10 minutes
