15
Q

If patient presents outwith PCI time, what do you do?

A

You do fibrinolyis.

90mins after this do ECG.

Q

Secondary prevention of MI, 2 drugs?

A

Beta blockers reduce mortality.

17
Q

Aspirin in MI?

A

Take 75mg lifelong aftera STEMI.

18
Q

Take ticagrlor for how long after MI?

A

For minimum 6 months up to one year. 90mg BD.

19
Q

Pericarditis 6 weeks after MI?

A

Dressler syndrome.

20
Q

Following confirmation of NSTEMI, treat with what?

A

Beta blockers and Fondaparinux.

21
Q

Following confirmation of non st elevation ACS, what treatments can be offered?

A

Either LMWH sc or fondaparinux.

22
Q

All people with an acute coronary syndrome get the same initial treatment, what is?

A
Morphine + antiemetic
Oxygen
Nitrates (2 puffs every 5 mins)
Aspirin 300mg
Ticagrelor (180mg)
\+
Beta blocker (misoprolol)
