How can the student have achieved any of their transition activities if they are still in hs?

While the student’s post-secondary goal is something that takes place after hs, the activities listed on the itp take place annually, and are the case carrier’s responsibility to see that they are done just like annual goals. IT IS NOT OK to say a student has not achieved their transition activities over the previous year bc they are “still in hs: adjusting to hs,” etc. This is tantamount to saying we have not provided transition services over the previous year. Select activities that are individualized to the student’s need in the area of transition and can be achieved within the next year.
