Q

achievement goal theory

A

motivation and task persistance depends on type of goals set
outcome- specific aim to beat and show superiority over others
-if they are achieved then motivation and confidence will be high but they won’t achieve goal in every situation
task orientated- aim to master a skill or improve own performance
-process is more important than outcome so have high intrinsic motivation
