Q

Receptors

A

The two main types of acetylcholine receptor are:-

Nicotinic
Muscarinic

Nicotinic receptors are ionotropic and are stimulated by nicotine and acetylcholine.

Muscarinic receptors are metabotropic and are stimulated by muscarine and acetylcholine.
