What does ideal Mental Health look like ?
-No symptoms or distress
- rational and can perceive ourselves accurately
- self actualise : strive to reach our potential
- can cope with stress
- we have a realistic view of the world
- we have good self esteem
- we are independent of other people
- we can successfully work love and enjoy our lesiure
Is there overlap between deviation from ideal mental health and FTFA?
Yes there is
The inablity to not keep a job is either FTFA or DFMH?
As they both overlap

Based on Americans and western europeans so can’t generalise to other people
Success is seen as important in the west seen as self indulgent in the east so will be dismissed as ideal mental health and so will be defined differently in other cultures
