Hx of:
Duration, flow, pain, LMP, blood clots, degree of inconvenience, systemic infections, emotion/physical stressors, thyroid disease or weight change
What medications should be taken into account when considering dx of AUB?
Anticoagulants:
Warfarin, Heparin
And exogenous hormones
What labs should be done when evaluating for AUB?
CBC, HCG, thyroid, coagulation studies, GC, pap, endometrial sampling
What imaging should be done when evaluating AUB?
Transvaginal US
Sonohysterography, hysteroscopy
Where should AUB patients be referred to?
OB-GYN
