Q

Stall Recovery

A

Call “Stall, I have Control”
Nose down pitch control to reduce AOA
Wings level

When out of the stall:
Increase thrust smoothly
Check speed brakes retracted
Recover flight path smoothly
If I’m clean CONFIG and below 20,000ft:
Select flap 1

A

TA
Reduce range to 10nm
Call “TCAS I have control” or “TCAS Blue”

Windshear Warning (reactive)

A

Before V1 - reject take-off

Above V1
Call “Windshear TOGA”
Select TOGA, follow SRS and use full back stick if required
Maintain configuration until out of Windshear and keep AP on of engaged.
If FDs are not displayed, pitch 17.5 degrees and adjust to prevent loss of altitude

When clear of Windshear, call “go-around flaps” (make sure speed is safe and increasing”
