give 4 ways why data is important?
patient safety
help with research
better diagnosis
plan services
give 5 considerations to make when managing data

what are 4 ranges of data in healthcare?
patient level
service level
organisation level
population level
give 4 benefits of manual data
more permanent
more authentic
can be saved easier
can support years of data
give 4x2 data types

what is retrospective data?
looks backwards and examine data from the past.

value depends on another variable.
eg, heart rate on a treadmill
what is independent data?
not depended on a variable, something we can change.
eg, treadmill speed
what is discrete data?
numerical and can be counted, whole numbers
eg, number of patients
