What are the additional parameters for an FDR, and what mass qualifies as needing these requirements?
for MTOM of greater than 27000kg

When will an FDR start automatically recording/
upon start up of the first engine.
When must an FDR start automatically recording?
before the A/C is able to move under its own power
When is flight with an unserviceable FDR/CVR not forbidden?
The CVR/FDR carried must be operative
it is not reasonably practicable to fix it before you go
the A/C does not exceed more than 8 flight without it
not more than 72 hours have passed since the FDR/CVR was found to be unserviceable
When must 2 recorders (be they combined or different types) be installed on an A/C?
When the A/C MTOM is more than 5700kg
