COA Ocular Motility
Recti functions
Regular functions. Will do what they sound like
Oblique functions
Oppposite functions. Will do opposite what they sound like
Elevation
Lift up
Depression
Send down
ABduction
Pull outward (look at my ABs with hands going to side)
ADDuction
Pull toward nose inward (ADD to your nose)
Torsion
Spin
Medial Recutus primary function
ADDuction. Pull toward nose (think medial means middle so recti does what it sounds)
Medial
Middle/ nasal
Lateral
Pull out toward ear/ temporal
Superior
Up top
Inferior
Down below
Lateral rectus primary function
ABduction. Pull toward lateral/ temporal/ ear (lateral =out, recti= regular does what it sounds)
Superior recuts primary function
Elevation (superior= up top, recti= regular)
Inferior rectus primary function
Depression (inferior= down below, recti=regular)
Primary function of OBLIQUE IS
Torsion (think abs twisting when doing oblique excercises)
Superior Oblique primary function
INTORSION (obliques first job is always torsion) (inferior people extort so superior must intort)
Inferior Oblique primary function
EXTORSION (obliques first job is alway torsion) (INFERIOR PEOPLE EXTORT)
Versions testing is monoc or binoc
BINOC (more then one version of a book, so two)

Tropia is always there, phoria has to break fusion of eyes to show it
