It reduces its effectiveness

- MAOIs (e.g. selegiline) and triptans
- Increase risk of serotonin syndrome
What are the signs of SSRI discontinuation syndrome?
Dizziness, electric shock sensations and anxiety
Signs of serotonin syndrome?
- Hyperreflexia, myoclonus and rigidity
- Hyperthermia and sweating
- Confusion
