A waxy, protective on the leaves, stems, and flowers of plants.
Cuticle
An organism that uses outside energy source, such as the sun, and produces its own food.
Producer
Specialized plant composed of tube like cells that transports water and nutrients into some plants.
Vascular tissue
A leaf of a fern.
Frond
The diffusion of water molecules only through a membrane.
Osmosis
A structure that anchors a nonvascular plant to a surface.
Rhizoid
A layer of tissue that produces new vascular tissue and grows between the Phloem and Xylem.
Cambium
A type of vascular tissue that carries dissolved sugars throughout a plant.
Phloem
A type of vascular tissue that carries water and dissolved nutrients from the roots to the stem and the leaves.
Xylem
A small opening in the epidermis, or surface area, of a leaf.
Stoma
Plants were the seeds are produced in a cone.

Leaves are narrow with parallel veins and its flower parts in multiples of 3.
Monocot
Leave veins are branched and its flower parts are in multiplies of 4 or 5.
Dicot
