76 Engine Controls Flashcards
What does your engine control system consist of?
Power control, prop control and fuel control levers., connecting rods and a push/pull control assembly mounted on the top right side of the engine.
What range does the power lever control?
Maximum take off to full reverse. it also selects the prop pitch (beta control) from reverse upto constant speed.
What flange does 3 levers, cam and pins mount to?
Flange G
During normal prop operation, ground idle, flight idle - take off. what impact does the cam follower pin have?
Moves in the circumferential slot of the cam, impacting no motion to the prop control lever.
On selection of reverse what happens to the cam follower pin?
it moves after in the radial position of the slot acting on the push-pull control cable running forward to propeller reversing lever.
What provides your mechanical input from the prop reversing lever to the prop feedback ring?
Carbon Block
